DETAILS
Everybody has an opinion as to which boat they like best. Here at Dumas, the opinion poll winner is the Victory Tug. There are a number of reasons why this charming little ship has captured the hearts of so many modellers. At 28 inches long, it is perfect for those with smaller workspaces. The quality materials, such as balsa planking and stainless steel rails, lead to excellent building results. Basically, everybody loves tugboats and the Victory Tug, with all her natural wood and scruffy good looks, is an exceptional find. The Dumas model of the Victory Tug provides all the high-quality materials necessary to complete the kit as a static model. If you choose to radio control the Victory Tug, all you need is a #2004 6V motor, #8314 Electronic Speed Control, a 7.2V NiCad battery pack, and a 2-channel radio to get her on the water. In the summer of 2012, this model underwent a complete redesign. In addition to the switch to balsa planking, the model now features several expanded PVC Die cuts. Ease of construction and documentation have been greatly improved. The kit includes a 51-page instruction manual and 64 detailed drawings. The new Victory Tug is better than ever.
