The Su-27 fighter is a single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather heavy fighter developed by the Soviet Sukhoi Design Bureau. Known for its ultra-low-altitude flight capabilities, outstanding manoeuvrability and stealth performance, the Su-27 can complete deep combat missions independently, even without ground control input.
The FMS research and development team spent 14 months recreating this classic and distinctive aircraft. Their work focused on both “dynamic” and “static” elements to achieve a faithful and functional representation of the Su-27.
Equipped with twin 70mm inrunner 12-blade EDF units and high-quality 80A ESCs, the Su-27 delivers strong thrust for high-speed flight, excellent vertical climbing ability and a realistic turbine engine sound. Pre-installed metal gear servos and ball-link style control horns ensure responsive and accurate control in all flight conditions.
FMS has meticulously replicated the Su-27’s features to achieve a highly detailed and authentic look. Functional elements include a large airbrake, LED navigation and landing lights, full-motion tail surfaces, sequenced landing gear doors and a robust retractable landing gear system.
